IT has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not implying the C63 isn't a "quality" piece of work. I don't like it because its huge engine and good only in a straight line nature is too domestic muscle car like for me. I think that is a stupid way of doing things for a car that is supposed to compete with the M3, which despite having an engine 2.2L smaller and being down a ton of power will put up a good fight with the C63 in a drag race and absolutely embarrass it on anything other than perfectly straight asphalt. Styling is subjective, but the C63 is also horrendously ugly with too many tacky details.
Meanwhile, I'm not sure how Eric is keeping it below 5000RPM. The 135i hit redline and triple digits on its maiden voyage from the dealership. But in all fairness the M3's 4.0L V8 is a different beast than the 3.0L TT N54.

I love the comments on this thread... Let me interject.
Firstly, with regard to the paint being soft. It depends. The Jet Black on my E46 M3 was indeed soft and nowhere quite as nice as the plain Black on my w203. I HATED BMW's Jet Black. However, my M5 in Alpine White appears to be significantly more durable. In fact, some idiot tried to write on my car with a ball point pen and it didn't even penetrate through the clear-coat and I was able to quickly remove whatever traces of the pen and the idiot's movement on my paint with just cleaner wax.
Secondly, in comparison to the C63, I would say that the C63 with the LSD (which is ESSENTIAL for the C63) and P31 package is close to or right on par with the M3.
I've had plenty of seat time in the E9x M3 (stock and modded) and the C63. I've taken the E9x M3 around BMW's track in their performance center and the "handling" portion of my M school was taught/done in the E9x M3. I've also been able to take the C63 out on the track as well. I would say that driving a C63 on the track to its limits is more difficult than doing the same with an M3. But, if you can handle it, the C63 has no trouble keeping up with the M3.
The strong suit of the C63 is the exhaust note, low-end torque and the straight line acceleration. The M3 has a better suspension and far superior M-DCT transmission. The interiors are about a wash, but I love the C63's seats while I love the M3's Individual audio system and steering wheel (except the DCT paddles). It's all about personal preference at that point, both are great cars. (Although one is more douchey than the other
lol) However, if I got a C63, I would IMMEDIATELY have KW's put on without a doubt. The M3 wouldn't need anything immediately.

Again, keep in mind this car has never been washed. I caught it coming off the truck and asked the dealer not to touch it after PDI. Luckily they did exactly that and I got the car untouched. It was a mess but I wanted it that way since I know from day 1 exactly how the paint is treated. Anyway, onto the pics!
Morning of pickup:
It was an overcast day.
LOL, no more huge fender gap from the shipping blocks
Someone else was taking delivery of a 335i. Hope I didn't steal his thunder.
All important booty shot
At the car wash today:
Finally! She's clean!
Get in, lets go!

In her spot:
Hey Phil, we gotta have a gtg soon since my photography skills are horrible. If I still have the C350 maybe we can take some side-by-side shots too.
What? No the first set of pics were from tuesday night when it rolled off the truck. Remember "NO FRONT PLATE". This second set of pics are from Wednesday morning when I picked it up and then earlier today when I finally had a chance to give it a good wash. Yes Frank, it was done at the self wash off jamboree. What can I say I live in the ghetto.

gives me a chance to try the new crap I got for my camera.
when you're out of break-in, we'll do the same canyon run too.

I was in so much of a rush I think they kicked that guy out of the finance office and got me through there so I could get to my meeting.

In its eight-way comparison ‘who’s the sportiest of them all’ article, the M3 ZCP easily trounced every other current BMW offering.
The M3 is an obvious choice for the sportiest BMW, so much so that we were tempted to pick the 335is Coupe just to avoid predictability. Ultimately, however, we had to go with the M3, because its technical advantages are simply too strong to ignore. Add the new ZCP Competition Package and you’ve got a car which really is “the best handing production M car ever built,” just as BMW claims.
[snip]
There’s more to handling than tires and a differential, of course, and ZCP improves the M3’s already excellent dynamics by lowering the suspension - and the center of gravity - by 10mm. ZCP also includes 19-inch wheels with greater offset, thus widening the track widths beyond the standard 60.6 inches front and rear. Note the M3’s track widths are equal, which confers more neutral handling than those that are narrower up front than at the rear.
Those features alone make the ZCP option worthwhile, if a bit expensive at $2,500. To justify the premium, it also includes sportier mapping for both the Electronic Damping Control (itself part of the package) and Dynamic Stability Control, thus making the ZCP M3 more effective on the track and more fun on the street. BMW’s engineers undoubtedly assume a decent level of skill among M drivers, and they’ve set up the car to take advantage of it. Not surprisingly, the M3 is the street car of choice for many professional drivers…nothing else in the lineup can compare.

but i have to say the tail light WORKS on the sedan, but not so much on the coupe imo. maybe it has to do with how they connect to the trunk. one on the top and one on the bottom. your interior is WIN tho...LOL
