If I remember correctly, this system is a passive system. That means it doesn't actively monitor the actual tire pressure, it monitors wheel rotations. If a wheel has significantly more or less rotations, then that means the circumference has changed. Thus, the tire pressure has been adjusted.

Correct. It isn't as accurate as an active system, but it does work as the American wife found out at 12,001 miles on rear tires that were good for 12,000 miles.Originally Posted by patrick_y

Anyone have it? I can't find it on my computer and my STAR is down at the moment so I can't make one...for now.
Thanks

Hope someone else has it. If you can create it again from STAR what would be awesome. My car goes in Wednesday for a harness repair (damn mice!) and I thought I would get this activated. Having the procedure in hand would better guarantee it gets done!Originally Posted by Karo

Hey guys, I found one. If I recall correctly this was one that I did on the pre-facelift models.
I can't quite remember.

I think this will help me get where I need to go with the dealer. My car is still there so I'll talk to the tech tomorrow. Thanks so much!!Originally Posted by Karo

I managed to get hold of STAR and tried to enable Tire Pressure Loss Warner using the instructions above. I got to Control Units > Chassis > ESP > Control Unit Adaptations, but there was no option for Tire Pressure Loss Warner. Am i missing something? I keep hearing that something needs to be done before getting to the ESP part but i cant seem to find any instructions. Also i have a 2007 C280 4MATIC. I would truly appreciate it if you can shed some light.Originally Posted by Karo
