Trouble Installing an indash in a 02 coupe.
Sorry for starting a new thread, I have gone through the search method (found alot of helpful things, but not exactly what I was looking for) I have the harness and the antenna adaptor, and I connected the audio wires (easy part), but when it comes to getting the unit powered up, I seem to get stuck. What exactly do I have to do to power the indash?

Look for the 12v power source that originally powered up the OEM unit which is usually a red wire and tap into it. It's easier if you have a volt reader so can if it is the correct wire when you turn the car on. Another way is to locate the radio fuse in fuse box and then tap into that line from the fuse box.

Black = Ground (brown wire)
Red = Accessory or Ignition (black/yellow) at cig. lighter
Please double check all wires with a volt meter

Had my neighbor (certified mechanic) check it out for me. Had a blown fuse under the hood, and a blown fuse from a cable going from the ignition switch to the stereo. Wow. No wonder I couldn't figure it out, if it wasn't for him, I would have wasted another 4 days lmao.
Only question, for future references when you replace a fuse, what exactly is the importance of the amp of the fuse? (no worries the fuses that were blown out were replaced with same amp fuses)

always replace the fuse with the same amp rating.
The fuse is rated to blow before the wire melts. If the fuse rating is higher than the current rating of the wire, the wire will burn first and you have a nice lil fire happening
