damm somebody stole my ambient temp sensor
so this morning im running late but notice the front right mudflap piece is hanging low so \i look uder the car and the front engine cover screws are missing the front 2...... anyways no time so i go to work
way home my ambient temperature is 85C so im like wtf?
get home change and notice my sensor is gone its been unpluged and taken
some body must be real cheap assed to steal a w203 ambient temperature sensor
unless the dealer took it off yesterday (but i doubt it as they were inspecting my cats)
also noticed my lcd stays on long after my keys removed (like 2 mins) and turns on when the drivers door is opened I cant remeber if it did that before

That is seriously odd! It would be less work to go to a dealer and get it. At least they unplugged it, instead of just pulling wires loose.
OK, just for the record, I would like to point out that when I suggested "parking lot sourcing" for parts in an early thread, I was just kidding. I was not actually advocating the idea! Especially since the temp sensor is a part that doesn't even have to be color matched.
