tow eye cover (front)
Any suggestions in where to get the tow eye cover (front) this the w203 model? It's a pain to find the correct color. I am not painter / detailer and would like to get the correct color to plug in to.
Any suggestions in where to get this replacement part? I can't seem to find any junkyard either.

Dude,... seriously, how much do you think you're going to save avoiding the dealership for this little plastic cover? What $5 or $10??? Is that little saving really worth the opportunity cost in your time and effort?

$20 eh. Yeah.. Kinda steep for a small plastic piece. Just wondering if I should order the prime black piece and do the paint job myself as a small weekend project.

its a benz dude you cant get much cheaper than 20 bucks. If you do find it for less your probably going to end up spending the same amount(or more) for primer, paint, and clear coat and it won't be perfectly color matched.

Now...if you want a cheap and easy option: Go to the mall or other parking area, drive around until you find a W203 in your color, wait until there is a parking spot next to it (so you can make sure the color matches perfectly), and in just a few moments you will have a perfect replacement.
Oh wait...were you at the mall or such when you lost yours...
I can't see why this wouldn't be a thing to go to the dealership for. Don't know about yours, but mine would probably have it in hand in 24 hours. I'm just not sure you could find one any cheaper elsewhere, especially if you had to paint it.
But maybe you enjoy making the simple project complex. I've been known to do that myself. Best of luck regardless of your choice.

I had a Benz race truck a few years back. One of these crooks in the pits heard me say that I would love a set of the wheel trims off XYZ hotel group's airport coach for our race truck. Next morning there they were at my doorstep.
Crapped on the a$$hole - paid him a few bucks & returned them to the hotel who gladly refunded my money What a disgrace.

I know a couple of areas of the city here where that is the norm.
And yet we still have people go there, leave their GPS or RADAR detector stuck to the windshield and then walk off from their car. Universally they are surprised "anyone" would do that when they get back to their car.
