[Bilstein PSS9's] New. Decent price. *Will they fit?*

Well.. I'm finally committed to getting Bilsteins for my car, because it really needs a drop. It's the rite-of-passage. Lol.

So I found this website that's selling them for $1350 plus S&H.

My total came out to about ~$1550 shipped.
Not bad, but not a screaming deal either.

But what I'd like to know is if they'd fit for my car.
A 2006 C280.

Here's the link:
http://www.raceinspired.com/p-24591-...2000-2005.aspx

It says that it would fit the c240, c320, c32, and c230

I'm under the impression we all have the same suspension pretty much, so it should work?

But looking up the part number online: SKU:BIL-F4-GM5-8860-H1 (24591)
Other websites don't list the C-Class w203 models..

Even searching up the c-class on the raceinspired website, it's not listed.
However, a pss10 system is listed for ~$2300:
http://www.raceinspired.com/cs-20-coilovers.aspx

So, I'd like to make sure that this set of pss9's will work for my car.

I won't order a set until it's closer to the date I'll be back in the states, so I do hope if this set works it doesn't get sold out

Maybe we could also ask raceinspired for a group-buy pricing as well if there are a few more people interested

I'd also like to know if anyone knows any car dealers that can sell it for cheaper than listed here. I'm interested in a install quote as well if that makes a difference. I'd rather help out a friend's shop or whatever than a place that's just online.

white and whiter
fitment for all w203 are the same except 4-matic. they'll fit, but you will need to get a sleave or some sort for the sway bar endlink. all pss9 if i remember correctly are the 12mm endlink holes. your luxury sedan has the 10mm.

For sure. Thanks for the post Frank!

Can you give me a clearer idea of what exactly this 'sleeve' is that you are referring to?

I've already emailed RaceInspired about a possible group buy.
I'm awaiting a reply. If I get a positive, I'll post this up in other c-class forums asking for more people interested.

I've also found out one of my relative's sister's son has a car hobby/tuning shop here. Maybe if I ask him if he's interested in a group buy / price-matching, it may cost less.
But this cousin is located in Zhuhai, China
Shipping might be just as bad.. So I'll update this thread what I find out.

In the meantime... Back to me
Please clarify what I will be needing exactly to make this happen

**Looked at some pictures. Thought about it. So I'd need to fabricate some sort of -thingy-ma-bobber?**

A 1mm one by the sounds of it?

Because it's a 2mm difference... and... 1mm on each end of the sleeve = 2mm difference?

Yeah, it's one of the lowest I've seen in awhile so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Should hear back from RaceInspired in 1~2 business days regarding the GroupBuy.

But if not that many people are interested, or RI isn't interested..
I'm still going to order it when I'm back in the states, and proceed with my

Well, I don't really see anything wrong with it =/

I've heard about 3 people so far who have gotten pss9's new for about this price. Whether it be: Shops listing them up as the last one they have in stock. Found on shox.com. Or another lucky website.
Maybe I'm lucky and found another one of those 'lucky websites'

I just hope that if these are the proper ones, they don't sell out on me

The return policy however is pretty strict though.
I'll shoot them an email inquiring about the product and what it'll fit so I have their word that it works on _____ vehicles.
That way I'll be protected in the event that during install, it doesn't work.

That's the plan when I come back to the states early september

EDIT:

I didn't want to double post, so I'll just edit this post with an update I got from RaceInspired.

"Hello Jimmy,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a group discount at this time.

We hope we have answered all your questions. Let us know how else we can help you.

Regards,
Eric - Race Inspired Sales Team"

I guess the Group Buy is a no-go... So.. EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES!
Lol. I'll be putting in my purchase once I'm back.
They also carry H&R front and rear sways, FYI.

I am going to say... possibly.
But I can not say for 100% certainty.

I remember Kirax02 had a coupe, and he said that his pss9's would work for my car... so.. just a glimmer of hope for you
