2001 c240 ESP malfunction
I started having problems with the ESP, while driving it pretends that the wheels lost traction and the esp turns on to compensate for that. However it's not slippery or anything, then the car slows down or completely stops and a ESP malfunction shows up on the dash and see service for details and the car is rolling again. I've had it a few times at first, but now it happens every time I start up the car. Today the message just showed up in the dash board as soon as I started the car. Anybody experienced that same problem? How did you resolve it?
I was thinking about going to the stealership and have service A or service B done on it. What is the difference between both, because the price of service A is 229.00 USD and service B is 359.00 USD, I'm located in Florida!

I'm afraid 2001 cars were known for ESP module failure.
However - One question & one trick.
- Are you running tyres back vs. front that have in excess of about 2% difference in rolling circumference?
- Try turning the steering 5 times from lock to lock while stationary to reset the steering angle sensor.
