Car started acting funny. Didn't want to accelarate. Now it simply won't idle. Pressing the gas makes it worse the car will die quicker. I cleaned the maf, nada response, left maf unplugged, nada.
The code refers P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input. That means that the MAF is telling the ECM that the temp is below -30.
However, when I unplugged the MAF so that the car could run at the preset values, I got no improvement.
I hear the injectors clicking, but I think there is no gas pressure since I can't hear the fuel pump prime when I put the key to on. Can I check for pressure by releasing the pressure on the line at the fuel rail? (of course my hearing is not so good)
I have an extra maf I can try. But I think the code I am getting is a byproduct. Realize, this happened immediately after stopping to get gas. I only put Chevron Super in the car.
Thoughts?.
Can someone post up the WIS for replacing the fuel pump in a 2002 C230 Coupe?
Attached is the WIS for the fuel pump specifically. Also found out us US guys don't need the fancy claw wrench. The sending units have a latching cover. Attached the WIS for that too.
I have a 2007 c280 and went to replace the pump and the one I bought matches these instructions and Amazon says I got the compatible one, but upon opening everything up, it is different?
Doing some digging into the 2008 c300, it looks the same as the one i have.
