SF really missed me.

So... after a two month trip to China, I came back tonight.

My Monster Solo Headphones got cracked in the Customs Scanner.
Good **** I still have warranty..

Customs stole 1 bag of my beef jerky and threw it away.

White guy in a red firebird trans am rear ended me while I was on my way back home from the airport...

Rear bumper is all scratched up, dents and out of shape.

My exhaust got pushed in and is now covered by the bumper at least an inch plus, where before it stuck out to show the words "Eisenmann..."

It seems as though my headrests 'popped' out and hit the back of my head when I got rear-ended...
Like.. they're more extended now, and I took a look-sy and there's like there's a mechanism that makes them pop forward.

I will post pics tomorrow when there's more light...

Yup. I'd have to say SF 'really' missed me.

**What should I worry about after a rear-end collision?
I'm worrying about the exhaust having been pushed in that much =/

Maybe because my car wasn't drive around a lot, but my driver side window wouldn't auto-close when I pulled up on the switch.. I stopped and did the re-synch, and it seems to work now. Any correlation?

you have active headrest. Standard in most of our cars I believe. Its a mechanism used to prevent whiplash to the neck and head.

As far as your exhaust id get under there and check out the pipin, if your lucky...and I am hoping you are.... all that bent was a support bracket and thats why its pushed in.. good luck

a quarter mile at a time
Actually, you should be able to just push on the headrest and it should catch back again.

I took the photos, but currently my laptop believes I'm still behind China's great gay firewall..

So I can't even upload photos onto Imageshack.. Facebook won't load, Youtube won't load..

Any tech-savs have a solution to this?

On the flip-side:

Websites such as www.tudou.com and www.youku.com videos will still load for me...

Like I mentioned in the other thread, clear your mac out. Wipe your browser settings, network settings, and security settings. That should detach you from the Chinese firewall that I had to deal with not so long ago. Check for things that may have been installed on your computer while you were there to get on the internet. Delete.

Sorry about your car being rear ended, man! Hope your exhaust is an easy fix.

I am not very mac-tech-savy even though I've owned my MBP for 3 years... could you explain in a little more detail on how to clear out all my settings?

I remember I messed with a lot of VPN stuff to try and access Facebook/Youtube while in China, and while messing with an old Router that required some PPoE connections.. etc etc I had to modify some settings..

I've tried searching for a TUT online, but haven't found any.

TIA.
