Trini can't get her. When Mike buys her a Benz, I know he will because he would never buy a BMW (better not). Trini will start talking about Evos and other Japanese cars and that's when he'll blow it. Trini was sent here from other car forums to throw the name down of Benz

 

I'm seriousely considering a C230 coupe for her. If I can find the right deal that's what I'll go for. However I do have an 1985 325e that needs some love that I could just fix up for her.

 

Nice try I would never buy a Prius, not that I have anything against saving money on gas, but I hate the whole Green Cult. Who knows what I'll do, but I have 6 months to figure it out.

Rule of thumb when washing your car.. Always make the effort to clean the side skirts. Dirty skirts can be seen =P Looks good you lowered at all?

 

In the name of all that is holy, I'd recommend against a ccoupe as a first car. Too unreliable, too hard to do maintenance (which she should be learning to do herself), and too expensive if/when she has a "mishap".

I would think a civic/accord sedan would be much more reasonable. If you have to go further upscale, a Lexus IS would be my recommendation, though personally I can't stand any Lexi for myself.

Tommy, I hate rice burners... hate them. I'd rather just fix up my e30 for her, that car is the best car I've ever had. 280,000mi and still runs like a raped ape.

 

I'm sure she'll appreciate the BMW badge as she waits for the tow truck.

If it were me, I'd fix up the E30 for myself; that bodystyle has always been a favorite of mine. Well, not as good as a 3.0csi or 2002tii, but up there. I'll take your word for how well a raped ape runs.

 

Fast, it means fast I really enjoyed that car, and it only left me on the side of the road once. That wasn't the car's fault it was my running over a freaking BIG screw. I need to finish putting the M20 engine back in her. I had an M50 engine in, but sold that to a friend a couple of months ago. She'd got new breaks, new suspension, new steering rack and pump, and a new blower motor. All she needs is a new turn signal regulator, a couple of bushings, and some paint. It shouldn't be to bad.

Best time to get a carwash is when it's so filthy! Before and after pics mike...Mine sometimes turns charcoal gray after a month without washing...lol... Damn snow in San Antonio today too!

 

I'll definitely do a before and after shoot when all this crap clears up! Especially since I got a new camera (which I am enjoying the crap out of!)

Took some pics of the Conti DWS's tracks it left in the snow. Believe it or not, they did quite well.

 

What camera you rocking?! is it a DSLR... I have a Canon T1i that I use. I need to get a panoramic lens and the attachable flash.

 

I just bought the Canon EOS Rebel XS, got it for less than $500 OTD, but I'm already thinking I want something better. I'll wait a couple of days before I decide. However I just bought a telephoto lens for it, so I'll have to get another Canon...
