you can go custom and paint the inner spoke/outter lip black and leave the outter spoke/inner lip silver or vice versa.... you know what I mean.... I think it'd look cool.

i dont know if I like the plate on the side for ours. It looks better on imports IMHO. I like it on the center on MBs since the impact stripes flow to the center of the bumper.

I tried it the other way, but there was absolutely NO way to keep it from rubbing then. I've got an email in to GoMiniGo to see what they have to say.

Phi,
I agree, but I want to be legal without drilling my bumper. And technically these are imports

well in the tuning world we're considered EUROS and Japanese/Asian manf. are considered IMPORTS lol

I didnt care if I drilled in my bumper, if I ever decided to remove the front plate I can just bondo over the holes sand it down and paint it lol but I doubt I'll ever sell this car so I wont have to worry about it haha I'd be more concerned about finding a new hood

That's true, yours is definitely the MOST highly modified C230 that I know of. It would be a month long project to convert it back to stock.

Did some work on my car... well got new tires. I had something weird going on with my front end, and was trying to sort it out before I replaced the tires (turns out that it was just a crappy alignment job). So finally got that beat on Friday and Saturday I started calling around for tires. I knew I needed front tires, but the back ones didn't look too bad. So I found a pair of DWS' at Discount Tire, and headed over there to get them on. While I was there I asked them to balance my rear tires, and that's when the trouble started.

After sitting and waiting for about 30 minutes, they came in and got me and took me out to the bay.they had taken off the right rear wheel, and only then did they notice that the inside of the tire was worn down to the belts. The outside of the tire had plenty of tread left. Looking at the left rear tire it wasn't down to the belts yet, but it was almost as bad.

Long story short, they didn't have my beloved Continental DWS tires in stock for the rear (255/35/18), So I ended up getting Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.

The biggest lesson on this is that I will never buy Hankook tires again. The Ventus V12s that were on the rear only lasted me 18,000 miles, and have no mileage warranty.

THE C350
That sounds more like an alignment issue then a tire issue if they are fine on the outside. They are also full on summer tires more then 20k is good out of them so you were close to that. Your new tires are all seasons so they should have a harder tread compound so longer life.

Sounds reasonable Trey. I'll go back to MB, and have them re-check my car's alignment.

Good to see you still around Mike. You won't be disappointed with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. They have the edge over the DWS in dry and are long lasting. Just keep the pressure up in the front to keep them from feathering.

The Hankook tires have served me well. Like Trey already mentioned, you got close to 20k out of them. Not bad for the price.

This was the exact look I was looking for several years ago when I was in the market to get a set of summer wheels for my car, but couldn't really find the Avior wheels at a decent price. I ended up getting new replica AMG C55 twin spoke wheels instead in 17" size. See pic of my car. They have been great, but seeing this pic makes me want to look for these again.
