YAH! i always wondered how some of you make fun of...

"high spoilers"...for you who dont like those, "do you think the 4th generation (93-98) supra turbo spoilers, mitsubishi eclipse GSX spoiler / Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 spoilers are tacky???"

They all come stocked with those cars and thats how you tell the difference from a NA and a turbo.

Just wanna see your "honest" criticism. It's been running around my head everytime someone says SUPERMARKET CART spoilers...

That's a pretty cool!
Sorry if you misunderstood me Jorel! But wut i meant was a big spolier that has does not go well w/ a car! I mean those CLK DTM spoilers are HUGE! but they also look awesome IMO! My point was to only compare a Brbaus Emblem that fits well with a merce to a huge spolier typically used by rx-7/ delsol mods, that prob would look too good on w203! Though they look sweet on jap cars!!
Don't get me wrong If you think i dislike "ricey" stuff, I kind of favor it aslong as it looks good.. Infact I got criticized too much for liking it those things!! but some of those things still look really neat!

I bought my AMG badge at the dealer and they put it on for me. I rather have them put on the badge for me rather than mess up the alignment myself.

i know some have preferences with lower profile, some have it towards higher. dealer's exp, had a s430 come in for service, the mechanic looks at it....looks at the back...looks in the engine again...wait...it's got 12 cylinders for crying out loud! . the reverse has happened before too.

well, at least it's not that big a deal in the states. but i've been to countries where mb, bmw, or any other european make is a big deal, so people scooting around in hondas and toyotas, taxi drivers included, put on M emblems (bmw motorsport), and amg signs. things are way out the wazzoo...nearly all 318 have some stupid m emblem, or c220 have amg...or a4 rebadged as s4. just emblems for thought :p

AMEN

Amen, amen, amen.

Let people do what they want with their car.....most would call us Benz owners snobs anyway....so why try to be "the snob among snobs" ?

Hey Brabus C class why the attitude?

Big deal, so you have a BRABUS body kit. Personally, I dont think someone deserves a BRABUS badge just because they get some spoilers put on their car. Get some engine work done and then you can talk. Dude, every time someone says something similar to this, you answer in your rude tone. Chill out man it's just a piece of plastic, in reality i could give a rats a$$ about the badge on your car, i just want to show you what you sound like..........peace my friend, we are all one big happy Merc family.

stickers are stickers, to me it doesn't matter what they say or who made them. call them emblems if you want, it is a matter of self expression. for myself i can't wait to get them all removed. i love a car for its lines and simplestic beauty. that is just me. everyone is entitled to their opinions, and that is what makes us all original. the one sticker that gripes me it the ones i mostly see from the midwest, put on by the dealers to advertise their dealership name. get that crap off my car. if you want to advertise buy a billboard

actually, that happens on the east coast too... one of them is a stork carrying a car in a diaper - in white... would you want that on your car??? i make it a point to tell the dealership that there had better not a be any dealer stickers on the car when i pick it up. in california, this didn't happen.

I debadge my Coupe, easy to wax and no chrome. Just me, do not like stickers or logo, keep it clean. Well someone had to be different after reading all the above.

is it easy to peel the "C230" and "Kompressor" off the back? then just apply some wax back on the spot, right?

C230K: Yes, the emblems are quite easy to remove. Jsut use a heat gun or a hair dryer to remove them. Just remember to keep a fair distance from the paint, otherwise you could burn it.

Chris C32 : I DONT HAVE A BRABUS BADGE ON MY CAR. I would if I had engine work on it. What are you talking about? People on this forum can vouch I never had a Brabus badge on my car. They've seen me and my car. Calm down. And so what are you trying to say about me having a kit? Big deal? Thats very nice you give a rats *** about whats on my car or not. If you even read my thread correctly I DONT HAVE ANY PLASTIC ON MY CAR. My car is debadged. I think it looks cleaner that way. Why dont you just keep your ideas to yourself, if you want to insult me email me and I will gladly reply. You say peace but insult me. Very nice.

ah, i didn't know it was keenan mercedes... i like R&S's also - a round shield - looks kind of euro classic. until you get closer and you can read, "Fort Washington, PA" on it on the outer ring... but it's still something i don't want on my car.

Just a note for those who want to debadge. Instead of a heat gun, use dental floss, use sawing action and the letters come right off, then clean sticky off and your good to go. Did mine an I like the looks and waxing is a whole lot easier.

you can use goo-gone to get the sticky residue off.

maybe i'm being harsh but as far as emblems and badges.....if it's not under the hood then it shouldn't be on the back....

That's true, but maybe you wanted to keep them guessing. 240 or 320? JK, no flames.

Your car looks really nice with the exception of the exhaust tips (old school AMG looking, IMO) and the big front windshield sticker. Otherwise, nice job. BTW, go easy on the CAPS.
