Bumper/Headlights Misaligned??
I change my bumpers to brabus a couple month ago.. because i thought my front oem bumper was deform from a little accident where it shifted the bumper. the accident didn't knock the bumper off, but it cracked a corner where the impact strip was and the reinforcement also.
BUT ! there still seem to be alignment issues.
the thing is that the driver's right headlight have a broken tab which makes the light sit sorta back but i put some support to push the light forward and it still came out crooked. will buying a new right headlight fix the issue?
also, me and a buddy put the bumper on.. is there chance we didn't put the bumper on perfectly? screws etc.
question is .. what is misaligned? hood, headlights, bumper?
thanks

head light misaligned has nothing to do with bumper misalignment. your accident probably pushed/shifted the support beam for the bumper which you will probably never get it back to original alignment unless you send the car to a body shop.

thanks for the replies guys.
@dynomite: at the dealership or online?
@Frank: that's what i assumed.. but from looking at all the fender/hood/corner it sorta line up evenly beside the bottom corner where the gap is at. which made me think it was the headlight judging from this picture.
(right head light)
compared to
(left head light).
it looks like the screw and the part from the reinforcement is going against each other making that part stick out .. making the gap? if you can understand from looking at the picture.
anyways! how much would it cost for them to take off my bumper and align the support beam. i'm tired of looking at this ugly fitment.
thanks

lol...my buddy taibao who had an very minor accident on the front end before he got the full brabus kit has the same issue as well and he had perfectly fine bi-xenons. he just left it alone.
it's going to be hard to determine where the reinforcement is off. just save your money and live with it. if you want to correct it you'll have to remove the fenders, the hood, and the front bumper to make everything inside is aligned properly. imo...too much work.

just so you know i'm very **** about my cars, but I learn to leave somethings alone when they can be costly to fix.
i have cracks on the rear bumper for 3 years at least and I didn't bother to fix it. lol...and recently I had hit something on the freeway and cracked my paint on the front as well. i hate seeing the cracks, but I just don't feel like spending $ to fix it right now.

It does, but Euro Impact Strips are sick! But to the topic, the headlight gap between that and the hood is uniform, but its gap between the bumper so i'm assuming the bumper is misaligned not the headlight.
