Adding Bass with Factory Radio
High to Low Converter:
http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=28
This will use the speaker leads to give you the RCA plugs to add amp.. but will still need to run a remote wire (typically the accesory wire in the ignition switch ir tap to the blck/yellow at cigarette lighter)
High to Low Converter with remote out.
http://www.amazon.com/PAC-TRUNKLOC-A.../dp/B0007VNKZ4
This will use the speaker leads to give you the RCA plugs to add amp and a remote out so no need to tap into cig. lighter or acc in switch
If your in the LA area pm me i can get better deals and can also install for a better price (mods feel free to delete this if its not appropriate)![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

no the pac units will not work on the 05 and up C class. Only thing I found out it can do is clear codes
but no will not work for steering wheel controls.
Sorry for the extra posts. I'm using the mobil version and can't multi quote

now that my rant is done. WTF that pisses me off. I spent like $100 on the two items cuz I was told they would work. so how do you purchase that other item in the link above? doesn't give you an option to purchase it. and is anything else required to make it work or just that single unit?

hey jre do you have the wiring diagram to know which wires need to be connected to which wires on the unit? and was it able to auto-detect and calibrate or did you have to do it manually?

Wiring diagram can be accessed online at their website. Also it may come in the package. As for programming I did both just to make sure.
