Lucas Fuel Treatment
I was wondering if anyone here uses Lucas Fuel Treatment on their W203.
If yes, how many times a year would you suggest adding this to your gas tank?
Any suggestions?

+1 on the Chevron Techron.
On mine, I try to do it at the mid-point between the services (still a 10K interval). Since my wife's does not get driven nearly as much, I just do hers when I do mine, which works out to be about 3 times a year.

Through my google searches, alot of MB owners recommend Chevron Techron & say stay away from all other fuel additives.
Some posters have said Seafoam may cause leaks by weakening seals.
I have also read that MB has only approved Chevron Techron as the only fuel additive to be used on MB engines, can any MB service technician on this forum confirm this?

Chevron/Texaco/Caltex Techron is the only approved Benz clean up system.

Be careful with Seafoam. It has very high detergent and solvent qualities, and does not always work and play well with all motors, especially high mileage ones.
Stick to Chevron, as it is MB approved.

Why don't you pop off your covers and check.. lol
My grandfather just got a c320 2001 which i told him many times not to buy..but he did..
Anyways i took his pcv valves off to reseal them up and came to find out the little hole that the rubber tubes connect to on the m112 model were blocked due to carbon build up.. I was going to poke them threw but he drilled them bigger

MBWorld Fanatic!
I stick with top tier fuels for my C230. I use either Shell V Power and Chevron Techron almost exclusively and if the store looks old or run down (even if it is Shell or Chevron), I pass.
I add Techron concentrate about 1 time per month.
Xhale - if he bought an 01 C320 carbon buildup will be the last of his worries. The engine is a tough one. The rest of the car is certain to disintegrate before the carbon can cause him problems.
