I Don't know, I would just NEVER put something to the interior of my car that is not 100% original, If you want the looks of a big screen, buy the command system.. If you just want to see a DVD while driving, but a portable DVD (Very cheap btw)

Last I checked, an OEM unit costs around $2500, if you found one for around $700, please share with us as I'm sure many would jump on the deal. And I was leaning that route too until i found this unit. I'm not getting special deal or commission from the vendor or anything, I'm just trying to share my personal experience with it with everyone on this forum. I also have a kenwood double din which costs $800 but will stick out when installed. So for $650, the price is cheap and a very good deal.

You're all arguing that this is a "cheap Chinese-made" unit when none of you except Philly even has it. If you say something is cheap just because it's made in China, then a lot of stuff in this world are cheap, like your computer you're using to view this message.
Let's not forget this is $650 for Navigation/iPod/Bluetooth/Steering wheel control/Option for backup camera. I don't think there are many units out there that could do all of that for less than $650 and a little decent looking. If there are, please enlighten the rest of us.

I just mean that, it is a very expensive device for its cheap quality.. That's what I mean by calling it "cheap".. And yes! my Hp laptop is from china, but at least has HP support and Hp materials... Have 2 years with it now and its in great conditions..

And hanknum if you were doing fine then you wouldn't use unemployment as your excuse as to why you can't afford this. A more acceptable reason is that your current budget just doesn't allow for it. Not that a very lucky benefit you receive that partially comes from the taxes I pay goes to fund your hobby instead of putting dinner on the table for your family. But that's a different debate altogether that doesn't belong in this thread.

Wow...I was merely trying to help you guys out since I have the unit and therefore firsthand experience but you guys are going to be all negative about everything and just take shots then I'll stop "promoting" it. Good luck.....remember this post started with Nismo asking for input about "Aftermarket GPS unit" and I was just providing him with my input on a unit he inquired about.

Sorry some have come in to this thread criticizing(sp?) others. This is an open forum and it seems some people feel good to make others look bad. As I said before, too bad about the $375 site (site doesn't even work anymore). I think the price Philly paid for his unit is good, but a little too rich for my blood.

www.caraudiocraze.com is the same web site as the one mentioned before......same set up and ****........I think philly is full of **** and is hand in glove with this phony web site.........guys save you money and be smart...........there are ton of OEM command units floating around with european seller with good ebay ratings, I would prefer OEM then this ........it all smells of a scam....how come only philly has this unit.......

I've been mentally going back and forth about this and I mean, I was skeeved out by it running Windows CE 5, which is a $h!t mobile OS at best, and 5 years behind - couple that with having to download your own copy of the unnamed GPS software, which doesn't have an update path for new maps and the skeev factor gets higher.
If you're putting your name next to a product, you should be willing to post pics of it in your car.
For that price, I'd snag a Pioneer AVIC-X920BT
