05 C240 engine light on
I have a 05 C240 w/ 60,000km on it. I bought the car last weekend. The car drives fine, very smooth, all is working well. When gas got empty, I filled up w/ premium gas, and drove about 150km, then engine light came on. Car still drives like a new car. Service B is due in 6000km.
I have no clue which type of gas has been used before me.
Assuming that if regular 87 has been used on this car, and I filled up w/ premium 91 gas, is this something to do w/ triggering the engine light on?
And is it ok to use regular gas on M112?
Please, respond with any answers if you know of. Thanks.

Well there is not 1 thing any of us can do or say if you don't PULL the codes.. Please go to autozone and ask them to pull the codes from your car for free..
Post codes on here and we can go from there =D
But really it could be anything not just bad gas.. It could be misfiring it could be tons of things

Codes please. The only thing that filling can do to trigger a light is overfilling & saturating the EECS carbon canister. Not your problem - you say you drove 150 Km.

It's an 05.. If you get P0456 the dealer will tell you it's the charcoal canister and purge valve but it will actually turn out to be the fuel filler neck.
