First, all flaming of the noob is understood, so here goes. I have owned my 02 C230 coupe since it's release in 02, and recently was given the engine and tranny from slk32 amg (04 I think) from a friend who owns a junk yard. Will this engine/tranny fit in my C230? Thanks

when you swap that engine, and trans, you will also need to upgrade lot of other things (to support that extra power)... differentials, ECU, TCU, brakes, exhaust system, etc.

if I were you, I would look at complete technical details of all the components before starting on this project.

More like just buy a C32. The Hassle you'll go through to get that motor working right will just not be worth it.

Yeah, I'm old now and tuned a 91 integra back in 97. Frankinstien engine and all. This is going to be given to my son who's getting his drivers lic summer of '11. I'll be driving a 05 echo

The Acura has been gone for years. He's getting the c230 I'm trying to do the conversion on. At first I was going to try and tune the m111, but found that upgrades were difficult to find. So I asked around to a few people I know that worked or owned auto wrecking yards about what the had, and that's where I found the slk.
