If it says AMG, it must be AMG.

It does look to be in very good shape, though I have no idea why anyone would buy a 2002 240; questionable electronics, and even more questionable hp.

Over the summer, I took a trip down to Miami. In front of the hotel I was staying in, someone had a black "C240 AMG", with full-on ghetto tint (and by ghetto tint I mean the Autozone stick-on tint). The dude was leaning up against the fender hitting on some girls and I busted out laughing. He looked really pissed. I took out my MB key and said "240 AMG, huh?" and all he could do was say "F--k you" and storm off.

Priceless.

I have a pic on my old phone's SD card. I'll post it up when I find it.

they put a portable Garmin navigation on top of the dashboard and they advertise it as NAVI :-)
then they put an AMG badge on the rear deck, and call it AMG :-)

may be the salespeople didn't put that badge and the Garmin... may be the previous owner.
It's definitely FALSE (misleading) advertising.

Well, if it comes with the Tom Tom (as it looks like it does), then the ad is not really lying. It doesn't say "OEM navigation", kiddies. Sheesh.

Okay, fair enough - but when you mention that your car has navigation, unless you say "I'm throwing in my old window-mount unit", that you mean in-dash navigation.

i agree with a-1 sauce on this one. the title says "navi", a little misleading. if i wanted a w203 with navi and i saw that thread id look at it and realise it had an add on GPS unit and go on with my life, yes, but id also be mad he wsted my 10 seconds of life.

bottom line, shoulda said gps unit

Lane, since you missed out, I will let you see the picture of the rare E32 AMG, with the Euro-spoiler I was behind the other day. It does not sound as rare, or wonderful as the C240 AMG, but maybe it will help. I really wish I could have seen the Nav system, it appears to be missing on this one, maybe a more poorly optioned car?

Sorry for the picture quality, but I was driving and in the rain (and traffic). I just love these guys, that make me laugh.
