The solutions to being overrun with mice was to bring in cats to chase away the mice. Soon all the mice were gone but then, they are overrun with cats.
So they bring in dogs to chase away the cats. Soon all the cats were gone but then, they are overrun with dogs.
So they bring in lions to chase away the dogs. Soon all the dogs were gone but then, they are overrun with lions.
So they bring in elephants to chase away the lions. Soon all the lions were gone but then, they are overrun with elephants.
So they bring back the mice to chase away the elephants. Soon all the elephants were gone but then, they are overrun with mice,... again.

So they bring back the cats again to chase away the mice, then they bring back the dogs again to chase away the cats, then they bring back the lions again to chase way the dogs, then they bring back the elephants again to chase away the lions,... then they bring back the mice again to chase away the elephants again!,... and again!

(Software developers will recongize an "infinite loop" here)
Moral of this story,... if your engine bay is like this palace overrun with pests,... be happy with the mice. It could be worst!
Solution: clean the #%@* cheese out of your engine bay!

Another possible solution,... set up a motion detector under your hood. The siren in the engine bay should scare the crap out of any pest.
NOTE: No animals (real or imaginary) were harmed in this story. But there was a dead parrot in another thread. (I won't mention any names to protect the innocent,... and the not so innocent)

good moral.

Thought it was related to my car not starting,
but thankfully not, what ever it was didn't get a
chance to chew anything.
