It beats me?? it can't be shavings from the gears? Or shavings from the case. If you look at the ones on my fingers you can see lines.. or ridges

You have to clean the pan to transmission casing area very carefully & make sure the gasket is spotlessly clean.

I feel your pain xhale...had the trans from my last car, Jetta 1.8T completely crap out, DOA, it was an unreal moment.

Really hope you get it resolved without having to drop $5k on a new trans, that's how much it would have cost me if it wasn't for ins.

I wish you the best of luck man.

it might help. Just make sure your ordering is correct. i also do my torquing in stages, but not sure if its necessary. I wish i could tell you the exact order but i cant remember if its inside to outside or outside to inside, or a variation of the two.

Um lol yeah i still drive my car like a race car.. shifts perfectly.. I did another pan flush to check if there was anymore shavings and there was none.. Funny thing is after fluid change car seems to pull harder now.

I don't have any leaks anymore for now that is.. Car handles so differently i don't know if its the cold.. But the car handles amazing feels so heavy..

My girl even said the car drives differently in a good way.. Seems to stick to the road now
