Bad vibration and power loss @ WOT
So the other night I had to make a quick pass. with the accelerator down, it started vibrating and making a noise like it was sputtering. The car felt like it had very little power.
I pulled over and turned off the ignition. Checked under the hood, nothing looked out of place. When I started up again, drove normal Until I floored it again.
I checked the cam sensor wires. Yes there is some oil in the connector. I will get the necessary parts to fix that on monday. No oil made it to the ecu side, so I don't think that caused the issue.
I pulled a spark plug, and this is what I saw:
Is this normal wear? If not, what would cause this? Can this be the root of my problem?

I had the same thing happen to me the other day! The coil pack on cylinder 1 was bad. I switched the plug and the coil pack and bingo it was fixed. It was weird though, the reservoir was filled with water....I sucked it all out before pulling the the plug. In any case hope thats all it is..

Uhhh Hmmm those plugs look toasted!!
It's hard to tell but it looks like Ash Deposits Or getting too hot
Symptoms: Light brown deposits encrusted on the side or center electrodes or both. Derived from oil and/or fuel additives. Excessive amounts may mask the spark, causing misfiring and hesitation during acceleration.
Recommendations: If excessive deposits accumulate over a short time or low mileage, Install new valve guide seals to prevent seepage of oil into the combustion chambers. Also try changing gasoline brands!

Plugs are finished. Almost looks like old lead erosion problem from leaded fuels. Check codes. Some of the problem may be the duty cycle with too many short trips operating plugs outside the self cleaning range. Otherwise could be the ignition system being a bit lazy. Those are not oil related deposits. You don't have a valve guide seal problem.

Get hold of an OBDII scanner & check for stored codes. I want to know whether there are stored misfires that are too few to trigger a CEL.
Sort out those cam sensors - replace, clean things up & fit pigtales. Make sure no oil has got down to the O2 sensors. If it has the clean up as best you can.
Good luck!

Thank you so much for the help. It is appreciated. I didn't check the o2 sensors, but I will. What would I use to clean them? I just don't want to do any more damage

I would not clean those plugs.. I would just toss them.. You dont have 12 spark plugs to replace.. just replace them and save yourself time from doing it later on.. I replaced all my plugs and wires at 80k i would just change plugs if i was you. Get upgraded 4 prong spark plugs.. I forgot which i have in my car but i did feel more power with less shuddering. Everyone is going to have different ideas. Mine just come from a mercedes hand book
