Just sayin I dont like it...I maybe a noob as far as being a member of the forum but not as far as following it for info i need and owning a Mercedes. This is interesting I consider almost all the regulars on here a friend. Hell if I one day have some free time and cash I plan to meet a lot of the guys on here. Making friends on here is a very good idea then you will actually have someone to help you when your car dies. May you have a nice visit here but please don't act stupid or disrespectful there have been many like you that have come and gone so sorry if we come on strong but once you have proven yourself to be a good member you will be fine.
I work at a autoshop...Im a computer automotive technician. I dont NEED anyone or there help on this...I may want help...but I never need it for my car. So get over it...

I'll let you know... I'm still searching my old car stuff see if I can remember the site. I'll have to take the dash apart first to see what size bulbs we use for the dash. maybe Karo can jump in and post me a pdf of the dash and the bulbs.

hey mikey if you want to do your dash red you can use the OEM red bulb they sell at rmeuropean and switch all your lights with this bulb I believe.

also found some on ebay I searched under LED dash and make sure they look like the OEM bulb. I believe they're T5 size bulbs.

found some blue ones and purple ones.... think I might do purple to go along with my rivets and brake calipers.

I definitely want to change my dashboard colors to blue or maybe even red. And if I can do it for $4 then I'm definitely down. Its just too ugly of a color, I mean at least Audi's get a nice red dashboard.

Those purple ones should be sick ... now I'm not sure if i want purple or red ... maybe i'll go like the infinity G37 with purple back light and re needles ... or blue backlight and red needles like the VW R32's they look kinda purple when mixed together. I'll move on this once i get a chance

The facelift model dash lights aren't surface mount led's? For those with the pre-facelift, you can't easily change the color of your cluster because they they are surface mount led's behind the gauge cluster. It's a pain in the butt to do because taking the face off requires removing all the needles.
