Plenty of them on ebay; I got my Brembo stickers from a vendor there, and they've worked out fine. +2 hp!

So I've decided to pick up a 2nd car for another car to have just incase the w203 is down while i'm doing a project on it.

So I stumbled upon a 01 Audi S4, a car I've always loved and wanted. Has 130k and is asking 6400 and he just recently did a service with new oil cooler, secondardy water pump, new battery, hoses, cross pipe, etc. Going to go look at it his weekend if he doesnt sell it to a guy thats going to look at it today (crossing my fingers he doesnt) if not my second option I found is a 04 WRX wagon that has a built engine with a 2.5 head and 2.0 block fully built It only has 15k on engine and 87k on chassis and he's asking 8955. So maybe by next week I'll have another set of wheels to drive around in. I'm hoping its the S4 since I love the lines of that year and the power.

about to do my service and decided to try out the Amsoil 5W-30 so I ordered a case of 12 and ordered their Manual transmission GL-4 oil and their GL-5 gear lube. So some maintenance work and installing my rear calipers and sway and tearing apart my wheels to get the face painted.

so this weekend hopefully I'll be adding a second car to my garage. Found B5 S4 in great shape, I'm going to look at it in person and hopefully put in a good offer in on it. I made him send me detailed photos of every nook and cranny of the car.

So up next is a little modding on the S4 if I get it (crossing my fingers)

Mmmmm - much better than a Baja. Great choice - good luck on the purchase. Hopefully it's a manny, and double hopefully, yellow. Mods come so easy on them too.

Looks to be in very good shape for 131k. No mods at all?

Off the top of my head, I can see: powdercoat the y pipe, chip, new rims, drop a bit, get the steering wheel redone, metal pedals, and rear spoiler. If you need any more input, let me know. Oh, and get rid of the AXE in the door pocket.

Make sure to check the sunroof well. Expensive buggers.

i'll probably drop on H&R springs with bilstein struts/shocks, exhaust, intake, and better diverter valves. I'm not gonna go extreme on this since it'll be my DD probably. gonna do more performance mods since the engine is a beast.

so stupid bank says its going to take 3-5 days for my money to wire over into my other account. but the guy is cool and said he'd hold it for me till the money crosses over since I told him I'd pay the asking price he's looking for which I didnt mind paying. so by next week it should be all done.

Well I'm a proud owner of a 01 S4! Car drives buttery smooth after I put on some continental tires and did an alignment. The previous put on some noisy bfgoodrich tires. Already have some goodies ordered for it. I'll post pics when I have time.

Thats one of the reason to get the S4 is to let me work on the w203 tearing apart the 3 piece wheel this week and getting the faces redone. Getting some touchup paint work done also to get some scratches and knicks taken care of. It gives me more time to have the car down on projects.

phister, check out this company for your performance upgrades http://www.giacusa.com/

I'm coming from VAG & BMW world, and I used their software on all my cars. Highly-recommended! Congrats on the "new" S4!

I want that S4! Congrats on the buy. Can just imagine how nice it will look with some new wheels and a drop.

Phister, I wanted to ask you a question about the sway bar bushings for the W203...if you don't mind. I'm sick and tired of that damn creaking sound coming from the front suspension and remembered reading somewhere (can't find where now, been searching for the past 20 minutes) that you threw on some aftermarket bushings by Summit Racing? Luckily I saved the link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pt...6-bl/overview/.

They are obviously more expensive than the OEM bushings (~$4 at your favorite MB OEM parts online store) but apparently they will last quite a bit longer than the OEM's. Is this true and am I looking at the correct model for the 4-Matic? What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Its true they'll last longer cause they're polyurethane so they wont soften and loosen like the OEM rubber ones do over time. The ones I bought are universal and all you have to do is find the correct sway bar diameter one that matches your sway diameter.

They do creak more than OEM, though, in general. So if you're looking for a quieter bushing set, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Wait up. I thought new bushings were supposed to fix the "creak". You're saying these bushings will prolong the noise?
