Did we really expect any better from her? Grrrrr...still annoying, for you though! Sorry to hear.
Well, I hope you prevail. And that when you do they fire her. On Christmas.
Ok, maybe I am being harsh...but that was my first thought, and I'm going to leave it.

Fight it till the end. Call up the company and file a complaint. She is obviously lying. Have different people call different days and file a complaint about her driving with her truck number. Couple of those and hopefully she'll be fired.

insurance companies will try to match the story (from both parties) with the evidence - in this case, damage on the car doesn't match with the truck driver's story.

If she'd just said, "Oops, I misjudged. Sorry." I couldn't be as annoyed. After all, I have to admit, I've done dumb things (and in a couple of cases it ended with bent sheet metal for me and someone else).

Yep. John was reversing at high speed through the parking lot that day and clipped her bumper.
I feel the same way, Mike. I wouldn't want her to be fired over some cosmetic damage to my car if it were me because accidents do happen. But her blaming me would really push me over the edge.

Now, even hoping for the Christmas timing above, I can't really go for the false complaints. After all, her lying is what really gripes me.

I agree, I mean it happens. We all get into fender benders once in a while but to completely lye and say that John tried to squeeze by then she definitely deserves to be fired. I hope John writes a nice little letter to the Armor company explaining how their employee is a straight up biatch

Yeah her story doesnt have a leg to stand on since you have witnesses and just by the damage alone shows that the impact was by the truck. If you tried to squeeze into the spot I would assume your front fender would be thrashed and not your door. I dont think her partner is going to lie and tell the insurance the same story. Hopefully her license gets suspended or she isn't allowed to drive the truck anymore. Has the claims adjuster come by and looked at your car yet?

Hmm! - stupid wench - that won't fly. Easily contested.
I've already suggested alternative employment for her in a previous post.

Wow man I'm sorry to see that. Definetely get the insurance involved. As hes probably at fault. Deductible sucks and insurance will probably go up but the quicker you process this the faster your car will be as good as new!

Correction, Drove An '05 C230 Kompressor SS
You had an Officer come out and file a police report, Right?
Then your all set.
Most Likely she won't be fired over a parking lot accident unless this isn't her first incident.
Calling in the Truck number over and over will not do anything but cause you an issue if an investigator is put on the Case.... So Don't do it.
Either way, Usually the company trucks are not assigned to just one crew all the time, So if you did call, You may be calling in on someone different.
Plus if you don't have specific times and locations of the trucks presents, It will be false information and they could come after you...criminally.
I've seen it happen!!
I'm surprised they didn't have a DriveSafe in vehicle Camera that caught the action or even a Mall security Camera they can get video from.
The Insurance Company's are not stupid, It will all work out in your favor in the end, Just let it play out.
I know its easier to say then to do.... But Stay Calm with these people!!!
be 100% truthful with the Armored Car Company and their Insurance, And Stay On The Case.
If you don't hear from anyone within a couple of business days from one another, Don't be afraid to make some phone calls and remind them of how inconvenient this is for you..... Especially in the middle of the holiday season.
Don't let your case folder collect dust on someones desk
Good Luck Bro!!

So, I filed a complaint with the armored truck company and had some correspondence back and forth with the VP of operations. I received and email today stating the driver was not truthful, and the company is assuming full liability for the accident

Awful awful awful!
Trust me, the armored truck driver isn't feeling well after damaging your beautiful car. But still, just the whole thing is just an awful sight to see.
I wouldn't let the passenger off the hook so easily. The passenger should've said something to the driver, "Driver, you're not going to fit, you're going to hit the car, STOP."
I can't believe that the driver said that she was stopped and that you tried to do it. First of all, it's the driver's side that was damaged from the passenger side of the truck. No driver would damage his driver side, but the driver of the truck may accidentally drive the passenger side of the truck into another vehicle. How awful of the armored truck driver to be untruthful about the incident. They usually have security cameras in armored trucks so the company may sometimes have evidence to find out exactly what happened.

Dont worry man, you will get it fixed and dont worry about the repair.
I noticed in your first post you where checking the door alignments and the body, and thats honestly pretty minor damage.
I had an accident much much worse they replaced both doors, front and rear fenders, side skirt, bumper and trunk and all the doors opened and closed fine. Yours will come out looking awesome.

Just got an estimate. $4300 to fix. I also got an estimate to repair and respray bumper and hood for $1400. Not sure if I can talk the wife into forking out $1400 to fix rock chips with her still being unemployed.
