Door lock pins. Pics/info please?.

Hi guys, I see a lot of door lock pins on ebay, but don't see installed pics. I just want to know if they are flush with the door panel trim when locked. Or do they still stick up a little like the factory pins?

I'm really hoping they are flush.
Any pics or info from anyone who knows for sure is greatly appreciated

U live in the hood or something?? I know the stock ones jackers can pop them as easy as 1 2 3

After-market ones do not sit flush they just remove the lip so u can't use a coat hanger on them

LOL! Just the opposite. I live in a nice neighborhood, so I don't have to worry about so called jackers....If someone wants your car or wants something in it, they will get it/in regardless if the lock pins are flush or not. Thats why I have insurance......

Yup, they'll just use slimjims to get in your car. Here are many slimjims designed for different cars

Or how about a lockout kit

or the good old handy rock does a well job. My point is if someone wants to get in your car they'll do so. So door pins should not matter.

Thanks guys.
Nope, don't live in the hood. Has nothing to do with theft. I live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees and lakes.

Anyway, I just don't like having them sticking up. I hate when I put my arm on the door and have a lock pin jab me. Nothing major, just that my other cars don't have them sticking out the top

I agree - the golf tees really need to go already. The coupes had nicer door lock pins stock; I have no idea why the sedans didn't switch over as well.

The aftermarket ones are very nice; you can get Brabus ones or frabus for much cheaper. Then can adjust them to the height that you would like.
