FYI - cheap oil filter find for 272
bought a purolator, YES PUROLATOR L25277 for $11.49 regular price at advance auto. it is the Mann filter in a purolator box. save a buck, u'll need it to pay for oboma care, mike

Is that a fleece/polyester filter or a paper media filter?

Fleece/polyester filter is around $11 and change on RMeuropean dot com. I ordered couple of hours ago.

Dream on. The lack of understanding on such issues is hilarious. Anyway,

In my experience Puralator filters are indeed MANN ones, but paper and not fleece. Better make sure it is fleece.

i saw the fleece before installation. rm europ sounds like a good alt but must pay for shipping

Shipping is free for orders above $75. If my order is below that threshold, I add oil filters, misc items that I would need for maintenance to bring the total to above $75.

For all you Los Angeles guys, I got a hookup for mobil 1 040 Euro formula for 6 bucks a quart (includes tax) and I believe 8 bucks for mann fleece filter (can't remember if the guy said 7 or 8). He is a supplier to mechanic shops.
