C230 Coupe 210 hp at the wheels?
Ya vohl!
What kind of wheels are those?
Some day I gotta do a dyno.
210 at the wheels would have to be like 250 at the crank.
With everything I've got, I wonder where I'd be at?
All I know is she hauls ****, when I put my foot down.

Just found a dyno 1 mile from work, so I'll be doing a dyno next week. It should be interesting.
Do you really like those wheels?

I have ASP, Supersprint header, Remus muffler, and free flow cat.
I removed the SC muffler, and the 'gunsight' and screen from the MAF as well as the throttle body screen.
Some may say not a good idea to remove the TB screen, but if anything a less fine screen could be used.
See the R170 forum for more info on modding the MAF and throttle body screens. Instant free power.
When I did mine, it scared the crap out me as the car would barely run for a few minutes, as the computer adapted to being able to really breath.
Yeah, what I learned was that the best air filter and modified intake system aint gonna do didly with the way they've got the intake restricted.
I gained a lot of air intake, the stock design is quite adequate, with built in CAI. My other mods were just waiting for more air, and I'd guess I got 10hp just doing that.
That isn't to say a stock car would gain 10hp.
But with a pulley and free-er flowing exhaust,
if the engine isn't breathing to it's full potential
you won't get all the power that's there.
On a good day, when the temp is just right, and the fuel is good,
she really really goes.
About the only other thing I could do now is reduce the weight, toss the spare, and maybe even the rear seats. But I'm pretty much done, nothing else I can do except maybe modify the TB, but that's a waste of money IMHO.
Going back to stock rear tires size also has increased the pickup, less drag.

But reducing your rim weights would be a tangible benefit.
That's a pretty obvious improvement right in front of you. A drop from the C7s to a lighter rim would give you around 7-8 lbs per, a substantial redution in unsprung weight.

What type of wheels would result in that loss of weight?
Doesn't matter, no money for that now anyway.
I'm working, but just barely.
These days in Silly Con valley, you can take less money, or not work.

My OZ rims are 18.6; C7 was around 25-26, if memory serves.
TE37s would be substantially lighter, though they'd definitely cost you a pretty penny. Enkei RP01s would be an alternative, and I'm sure you could find a decent amount of one-piece forged rims that would all be in the 15-18 lb range.
