Wow, very nice find indeed, looks like it has a lot of options. Definitely would be a nice gem for someone.

Someone will buy that for 19k very soon. I wouldn't have given up mine @ $13,5 but that car is in a league of its own being and 07 with birdseye and bix.

The main difference is the double stiching on the edges.

Trin-
I can't complain at all brother man. Very smooth, nice amount of resistance on the pedal, no clicks or clunks to speak of. The shifter is short enough as it is. I wouldn't go out my way to buy a short throw. The clutch engagment range on the pedal is also perfect for feathering. Only thing I have it to compare with worth mentioning is my old 02 Camaro w/ the 6 spd T56. That was a one heavy duty SOB tranny but it was clunky, resistance was variable, clutch engagement made it a little difficult to feather, and it would randomly pop out of second gear: had a recurrent problem with synchros.

I see me and this little guy getting along very well.

I will admit the one problem... my 30 minute drive home turned 3 hours when it snowed 5 inches in 3 hours right before rush hour, and there was one point when I was having a horrible time making my way up an incline due to traction (dont get me wrong the whole ride home was awful) and I started losing momentum so I stepped on it a little bit, heard the engine rev but nothing... got frustrated and just nearly floored it. was around 4-5k rpm. i looked... tires werent spinning. my clutch was.
ill forgive it considering the circumstance.

Yeah those older trannys were big and clumsy if they were not maintained early in their life. Modern syncros make stick shift driving much better..

You should because those were really bad conditions, but can you ride the clutch out from a start in second? I don't know about Mb, but BMW reccomends in the M3 to take dsc off in snow.

Not sure was dcs is? But I took off in whatever gear let me go! It was terrible. If DCS is traction control, ya I defnitely turned it off. I couldnt have gotten ANYWHERE without it off. It would kill the power, id lose momentum, and get stuck.

Well ESP.. Question, when you take off ESP, other than traction control what else does it deactivate?

He could have just washed it and the headlight isn't sealed, but who cares it's under warranty right?

At that price you shouldn't have to worry about anything. Id spend 3k more and get myself a nice used E55 for 23k.

Or 26k for a real nice one

A C350 6MT under warranty or a 23k E55? No. With the E55 you better have some serious cash reserves if anything goes wrong. I'll take the C350 6MT, please.

Trini & Cale

When I deactivated ESP in my car with the button on the dash in our recent snow storm, it allowed tires to spin freely. It's not completely off, but it is toned down a lot. Please do this if you have issues making it up an incline. ESP completely stopped me on a hill in the snow with the light flashing and the car literally doing nothing. Losing your momentum is not good.

Oh so correct Matt. My wife called me crying because she got stuck due to the damn ESP ALONE. She clicked it off and was on her way.

ESP is great on these cars, though. You just have to know when to hold it, know when to fold it.

Since the car wasn't built until late 2006 or sometime in 2007 - long after the waters from Rita and Katrina had gone - I'm sure it's safe. The vehicle history report is also clean/clear.

I notice this, too. Maybe the manual cars are more likely to have been ordered and thus so equipped

Is this car actually under warranty? Mileage yes, but 4 years? Gotta be close.

OK, I checked the Autocheck in the listing. Not sure if it was bought in Dec 06 or Feb 07. Hard to tell. Either way, it might have 1 month warranty remaining at best?

Please correct me if I'm wrong about the terms on the warranty for 2007 models. I just bought my '07 C350 and have been assuming it is just out of warranty.

BTW, Mine came with bixenons and auto trans. I suspect it was ordered that way. Build date and original sale date were both within a month.
