PO325 Knock Sensor Bank 1
Hey guys,
So check engine light came on yesterday. Code PO325 knock sensor bank one. I searched the forum and found something similar for the M272, but mine is an M111. Is this an easy DIY? Any help is appreciated, and thanks.

Hey thanks a lot, just updated my profile too, lol. So I take it the car only has the one knock sensor? It doesn't look too hard to get to, hopefully I am not mistaken.

So just to clarify, is the bank something that needs to be replaced? Or is it just the knock sensor? I am not very mechanically inclined. Apologies. Thanks again.

The bank is where the cylinders reside, for lack of a better way to explain it. You don't need to worry about it.
In a V6 engine, there are two banks of cylinders. \ is one bank, / is the other, and the V is so many degrees - like a 60 degree V6 is the angle of the V or a 90 degree V6..
Make sense? The 4 cylinder only has one "bank".

Could you take some good pictures showing where the knock sensor is? I can't find it. Also, please give step by step instruction as to how you've replaced it. What's the easiest way? Would greatly appreciate it. My car is C230
