Help me identify my W203. Please!!!

Hi there, I'm new on MB
To cut the chase, my mechanic can't tell what model my car is. Currently it's in his workshop in Karachi and I'm in the US right now for 3 months. But I need help, when the car was bought it had no badge on it. It is a W203 2004-2005 range. And it's not a 180, 200, 230 Kompressors. By the engine size it's a V6 so it could be a 240, 280, 320 or 350. But I know it's not a 280 or 350 because those are after 2005 with different instrument clusters. So now its a C240 or C320. But I can't tell, because both are the same, except performance differs and the 240 is a luxury sedan while 320 comes in luxury and sport. When I first saw the car, it had the sported bodykit which is AMG inspired. So I think it might be a C320. But I want to make sure because again the 320 and 240 are exactly same. Even same engine size.... I have my chassis number with me if that's helpful. WDB.......So on. Please do help.

Is there no sticker on the side of the door with all the info? I have never seen a 240 stock with a sport package so I would say its a 320.

Well no sticker that gives the info. My dad got the car in October 2010 and at that time it had a C200 badge with no CDI or Kompressor badge. So that was fake. Engine is a V6, but I can't tell the difference on the 240 and 320. I have the Vin number of the car though.

What's the chassis number? C240s are 240.061

You should just look up the VIN.

Sign-up for EPC, after you enter the vehicle's VIN, Datacard on the EPC will tell you the identity of the vehicle along with the options installed on that car.

Well it's asking for my credit card info and I don't wanna pay. And my car isn't US specs nor it has been purchased in the US. I think it's Japanese specs, it has been purchased from either the UAE Dubai or Japan.

Well from the prefix of the VIN(WBD) the car is from West Germany, Daimler Benz, at least that's where it was manufactured.

Are you sure it's not a 2002 model? Pretty sure the tenth character in a VIN decodes the model year.

Well if you had the sticker on the side it would be a lot easier. Even the weight displayed on the sticker could help you figure this out.

Well the VIN isn't valid when I go to look it up, as e tried and stated above also. If that's the right VIN, then all I can tell you is that it's a 2002.

Omg I ordered parts for my Benz thinking it's a c240. But even if it's a 320, doesn't matter. Both are exactly the same except for the Hp and torque.

Hmmm, still no answers. Guess no one knows, I don't know whether to put a 240 badge or 320 badge when I get back. Don't wanna fake it

That number you have is definitely wrong, second letter stands for BMW, are you sure you got Mercedes?
