Akber, you didn't come out and ask for criticism.. but you most definitely asked for it.
Hey what am I gonna achieve If I boast that my car Hp is 200 instead of 170?? What am I gonna get to say that my car does 0-100 Km in 7.5?? NOTHING but making a joke outta myself. If my car was a 170 Hp, doing 0-100 Km in 8.5 then I would post that but that isn't the case any more!! What's the big deal? Even if my 240 is 200 Hp won't make it power house. I have nothing against C230 Ks or other 180s or 200s or even 320s. I just want my car to be fast. I dont want all of us to peck on each other.

Evosport claims 10-12 Hp gain for $350 for C240. Not bad I think? K&N I think (correct me if I'm wrong) says Hp gain is a slight.

Either way to add MORE fuel to the fire....back in the day brabuscclass, myself and widew203 tried our best and threw 30-40-50k EACH to mod up our 240's and try figure out how we can at least make the 240 somewhat fast...but as they say-you can put lipstick on a pig, but at the end of the day it's still a pig. Good luck believing this is gonna one day happen, at least all this nonsense has brought me back to these forums from my hiatus. Thanks for the entertainment Akber from Pakistan
I prefer Amg or Brabus for C class. I only like the Lorinser SL, anyways back on track. If I put in a kleemann SC that's 100 Hp right there, so I'll still be stuttering in the 300s but that's good enough. 32 engine swap like Karoo says, might be a higher gain but the car needs to be thoroughly modified for the engine to fit.

ROFL.. BRO you are living a dream, you want to make a C32 from your C240.. HOW OLD ARE YOU?

BTW doesn't the C240 stock produce 168hp? ROFL.

The compression on the C240 is 10.5:1.. That engine will detonate under booost. The C230k is 8.7:1

There you go, why ask questions, just give this mechanic the money and when you go home you have a 350+ HP car, since he obviously knows how to get the power out of it and you, nor anyone you want to listen to does.

I still say TROLL...but it has been amusing in a juvenile way.

+1 post for me, and + at least one for Akber for the reply. LOL

This is the best idea of the day Karo - Buy a C32 engine used in the US - It will save you a small fortune in buggering around on the impossible. Far better than trying to build a Karachi BS special that claims the world & does nothing. Karachi is good at breaking up old ships on the beach - not building high performance engines.

Remember to get the ECU & start saving for a new diff because the standard C240 article will throw it's guts in the road after a few hard starts.

EDIT - try & buy a C32 axle used while in the US.

Wtf is a troll? I'm not doubting my mechanic on what he can do. I can and I know he will and I'll Show the figures and videos after the project. I just want to make sure on what extras I should take back

Ok one last time. I get the 32 engine to Karachi? What has to be done to the 240 in order to support the 32 engine? Why not a kleemann.

Who has made a 350HP+ C240? I'd pay to see that.. You're quite amusing.

You'd be better off swaping in or "wedging in" a smallblock chevy in there

OK last time - Remove C240 engine & sell or use as boat anchor. Install C32 engine with ECU, cooler for intercooler etc. 722.6 auto transmission can take the power. Diff can't so replace.

You are going to have some connect up problems but I'm sure your mechanic if he is capable will work that through. You will need some adaption time with a Star DAS.

There is no Kleeman blower for a C240 & the one they do/did make for larger V6's would cost more than a C32 engine. Then you would need forged rods etc. etc.

I'm outta here.

Yeah Lorinser stuff is overrated and overpriced, anyways back to fueling flame to the fire:
Kleeman S/C will not net u anywhere near 100HP. Look up brabuscclass posts in regards to his upgrade.

Thanks though for your wisdom.
