Hi, i'm new to the forum. My girlfriend's 05 c240 headlight has burned out, so I'm thinking about replacing it with new HID headlights. It does not have HID's right now, and the car didn't come with a manual. I need to know what type of HID bulb will fit for this car.

Does it have halogens? If not you'll use a H7 bulb.. Refer to the search button for a HID installation walkthrough.

as trini hinted... buy a set of h7 HID bulbs, be ready to blind oncoming traffic. my wife has the same setup. you can adjust them down with some success though.

Yes, they are halogens. So just get the h7? Do you guys know any vendors here with a good deal on a hid kit?

on ddm it has options..Will i need the hid harness, error code eliminator, and adaptor cables?

get the error cancelors, as far as slim ballast go they require an addition mounting spot for the ignitor.

only get the error cancellors if you go with the 35w kit, otherwise 55w will match the stock halogen output and wont throw a code.
otherwise you just need the slim ballast kit. select your wattage, h7 size, and your preferred color (4300k, 5000k, 6000k, etc.)

I'm thinking about getting the 55w 5k or 6k, not sure yet. The hid kit on ddmtuning.com only comes with fullsize raptor ballasts, I don't see any slim ones.

looks like they arent carrying the slim anymore.
anyway, good luck, you have what you need. this is a cheap and reliable source.
