2007 C230 Telephone Kit

I mean the car cost and make has history and they cost a lot to by and repair. Why not have the kit in with it?
Looking back now, it's probably not even worth having the kit since we all have cell phones.
Does anyone have this kit on a 2007 C230?
If so, is it worth it?
and/or did you spend $3,000 to have it installed?
I do not know why your dealer quote you "$3000.00" ?. Here in SoCal, most newer MB C class 2006->up can retrofit with MB part for bluetooth around $1000.00. Even with my antique 2000 W210 E320, can retrofir only a few hundred (read the telephone thread from SKYLAW), I bought all the OEM parts from EBAY (I still have some V60 part left I do not use them), with V60 puck & tail, It work like a charm (even with the voice command that I bought from Ebay that work on telephone, radio & CD). East coast from NYC is MBdoctor , West coast is Rocco's autotech in Costa Mesa, CA. Joe's @ Rocco's is doing NAVI, phone retrofit for some of the OC's MB dealer. I had been Joe's customer for sometime, he is the guru of MB telematic. If you want OEM part for the bluetooth phone, doing some research, hit Ebay bit by bit, until you get all the parts, find a good MB tech with telematic experience to put them together (you need to access to SDS to make the phone work on OEM equipments). Good luck.
