Dent and warped Rim!

I dont know if anyone else has had this issue but I came to learn that I have to really drive careful with these low profile tires that come with my 2007 C230 Mercedes. When I drive it sounds like a am running over small smooth speed bumps. Not bad but just very aggravating after a while!

my F/D side Rim has a lip on the inside sticking out but it still holds air!

My L/P side Rim is warped!

Both of these Rims are in this situation the mechanic said because of pot holes on the road. I was thinking about going with that new technique they got where they repair tires in my situation but then again I was thinking of getting great condition used Rims....exact kind!

To fix: about $135 per tire
To buy: about $185-$200 per tire

I would like to know if anyone has been through this situation!
If you have, what did you do about it?
which of the 2 should I go with?

I meant to say "Per Rim"

Oh and also, does anyone know of some good deals on these rims for a 2007 C230 from Rims?

Stock rims aren't too low profile.

Did you buy a used car with aftermarket rims on them? What are the rims?

If your current rims are already taking a beating getting dents and warps,... imagine your suspension components. If you're thinking about buying another set of rims,... you should consider buying a smaller size,... so they're not as low profile.

If it were me, I'd just have them straightened and don't worry about it. If it happens again, repeat. Wouldn't be bad to find one used rim, just to have when you got the others fixed, if you think it will be an ongoing problem.

As of yet, I haven't been able to bend a stock rim on the MB, but not for lack of "Oh Crap!" moments where I was sure I had. I had an Accord it happened with and the fix as needed was the easiest answer. Atlanta likes to randomly place steel plates, or just dig a 4 inch deep trench in asphalt and leave it.

To answer that. All 4 of my OEM wheels were bent, not by me either. I bought the car from a little old lady that basically drove it to church and back. It comes with the territory in NY.

TO further blow your mind I had 16's with much more sidewall then op. I recommend going aftermarket with a strong set of rims and stiff sidewall tires.

It happens. I recently got 3 of mine fixed. Cost like 200 for all 3. One was pretty bad the others you could barely see the bend but they still didnt go 100% straight so I get them fixed as well.. I got them this way btw but Im usually carefull and have never bent a rim. yet
