Dent and warped Rim!
my F/D side Rim has a lip on the inside sticking out but it still holds air!
My L/P side Rim is warped!
Both of these Rims are in this situation the mechanic said because of pot holes on the road. I was thinking about going with that new technique they got where they repair tires in my situation but then again I was thinking of getting great condition used Rims....exact kind!
To fix: about $135 per tire
To buy: about $185-$200 per tire
I would like to know if anyone has been through this situation!
If you have, what did you do about it?
which of the 2 should I go with?
Did you buy a used car with aftermarket rims on them? What are the rims?
If your current rims are already taking a beating getting dents and warps,... imagine your suspension components. If you're thinking about buying another set of rims,... you should consider buying a smaller size,... so they're not as low profile.

As of yet, I haven't been able to bend a stock rim on the MB, but not for lack of "Oh Crap!" moments where I was sure I had. I had an Accord it happened with and the fix as needed was the easiest answer. Atlanta likes to randomly place steel plates, or just dig a 4 inch deep trench in asphalt and leave it.
TO further blow your mind I had 16's with much more sidewall then op. I recommend going aftermarket with a strong set of rims and stiff sidewall tires.
