wideband silencer
I was taking my wideband silencer off (M271 engine) to service my alternator and noticed oil inside it. It was not clear oil but rather looked like used engine oil. I have never overfilled my oil
Does this mean my supercharger need rebuilding as I have not idea how oil has gotten into there. I have not been noticing anything out of the ordinary with the performance of the car but have noticed that I do consume a litre of oil about every 3000km
I am assuming that something is wrong because technically it should be pristine clean inside as all should be traveling though it is compressed air on its way to the intercooler
If someone could ring in on this that would be great

Likely Oil transfer from the inlet system breather connections. C230 Sports Coup has a thread on this & fitting a catch can.
