I think Mercedes actually use to sell them

so it does look like Mercedes sold them.

I have them on my C230 and although many on the forum will burn anyone on the stake for installing them, for me it is well worth it especially in our winter climate. It actually does keep my car cleaner not to mention my pant legs of my suit in the winter. No more icebergs or slushbergs coated with salt hanging from the rocker panels. If there are lots of gravel roads to travel on they help cut down the amount of stone chips.

Here are 2 recent pics of the flaps that I got from Mercedes (with my winter wheels and tires), they are about $60 for a pair. They are easy to install though you need to take the rear wheels off, no drilling or holes into any bodywork needed other than one screw into the inner fender plastic liner

Benz make them to suit all body styles & skirts. They really save your paint in a place like SA. They are held on by potent clips & one screw each into the inner fender shroud. They fit like a glove. Hard rubber construction.

See page 2 for more pics

At $48.75 per pair you are not breaking the bank and I doubt that anyone would stock the various versions to fit our car's bodywork now that the car has been out of production for 4 years

Not sure, I just plugged in number under the part number search

My flaps are 6-6-52-8199 & 6-6-52-8200 but that is for a 2004 and the lower rocker panel and bumper changed in 05
