bleeding brakes question
I am thinking that if you are asking this basic type of question then you really should have an expert do the repairs and the bleeding and NOT doing it yourself. Doesn't sound like you have much experience working on cars and since brakes are a key and most important part, I would suggest that you pay the $150 and get a professional to do the swap and bleed. This is not the procedure that you should experiment with and cut your teeth on.
The life you save might be your own. If I am in Lowell I will watch out for an 03 c240 especially at stop lights!

1. NEVER, and I mean NEVER allow the master cylinder to go dry.
2. Brake fluid will ruin paint, make sure you have a hose and catch bottle
3. If you are going through all this trouble, go ahead and do a complete fluid flush. I prefer to use ATE fluid, and will alternate flushes between ATE Blue, and ATE Amber. It takes out some of the guess work.
If someone in the Dallas area wants to play camera man for me I'll do a nice how to video. In my opinion, you should NEVER pay for a brake job. It's just too easy. I've already taught my 15yr old daughter to do it.
