One guy was blind and couldn't read your id, and others who close to my age just looked at it, and said "Looks good to me". We knew which places had the coldest beer, and our favorite place was in Sunnyvale, owned by a German guy who had tons of awesome German beers.

Other Asian owned liquor stores would sell to anyone but the prices varied depending on their mood.
"$10. me- What? them- OK, I not sell to you or maybe you like to who me ID?"... me- no thats ok."

Maybe between the 2 of you, you can manage to scrape together a 12 pack when the time comes to do your pulley.
I wish I had been able to get pics of all your mods, I had been thinking of
writing a small booklet on the subject of C230 mods and peculiarities and publishing it, rather than answering the same questions over and over again.

BTW- Michael Kunzi,
my GF saw your sig, and says hey, how come I'm not on your sig?
It's all your fault.

Man all this talk of beer is making me thirsty.
haha dude i'm in the bay area, whenever we have a meet she's more than welcome to take some pics with black beauty i'm getting my grill blacked out as we speak so i'm hoping for an even more aggresive look.

Just went to the dealer ship and was told they don't carry adjustable bolts... Should I get kmac bolts? Or is that for the rear?

Someone posted the pn from CLK thats 23mm and bolts right in vs. 22mm. But really with TEIN CO's and thicker bars 22mm is fine.
Now I know you did something to fix your front alignment. Tell me what and where you got it?!

If you are absolutely positive of how many bolts need to be installed and on which arm it needs to go into, than you should be fine on installing it yourself. But i guess you'll find out once you bring it back for the alignment.

I went to the dealer with that exact part number. They said that the part wasn't adjustable. So I can get that and I will be good to go?

Well i guess the bold is not what you adjust you adjust where it goes but I did not install them just was told to get them. What they are is the crash bolts they are lounger or something different then the original that let you dial in the right settings. I am sure someone can tell us exactly how it works. I do remember someone saying that you can damage the arms when you put them in if you turn the wrong end so it might be grooved differently and you might be able to put the bolt in different groves but that is just a guess.
Remember the golden rule of owning a car don't trust the dealer lol sad but true. remember you never have to change transmission fluid it is a lifetime fill lol

Yeah my golden rule is don't trust anyone except my mechanic because he is a friend haha. The alignment shop they will install it for 80 bucks and I said why would I pay you to install a bolt when I installed two adjustable camber arms yesterday?

Do I needed to put those bolts in my caster arms too? Because the alignment guy said I only really need them for my camber?

Like I was saying earlier, if you dont know which control arm the bolts need to be installed and in which position, then you will have to let the alignment guy install it. There are 3 different positions per bolt and up to two bolts per wheel. That comes out to 9 different variations of adjustment.

They will adjust the bolt but I know which arm is the caster and which one is camber I just need to know if I should get a bolt for the caster arms. But it sounds like I do

You cant really adjust the bolt. The bolt has 3 positions inside of the arm. So if you slide it into the position and bolt it on, then its fixed. The only way to adjust is to remove the bolt and arm and move it into a new position. So basically, if you install it in the wrong position then they will end up reinstalling it anyways.

Check out post 157 by Splinter. This gives a great description of how the bolt works and installed. Keep in mind this only depicts one bolt being installed. Adding the second bolt will increase adjustment values by a power of two.

I guess I must pay them to do it, but I hate letting people like that work on my car. He was one of those people that seemed nice but was obviously trying to charge more telling me it is a mercedes and requires more work for an alignment even though sears charges the same for any car... He seemed nice but had bad intentions... Kind of like a pedophile...
