Alot of speakers these days use carbon fiber to make the cones. My Memphis audio sub has a carbon fiber cone. But I'd like to see what company this is from. PICS!

hey speaking of subs, do our cars some with some small factory sub or something? i mean this stock sound system booms pretty well as it is, i love it!

Yes there is a factory ten under the rear deck that is visible. And the speakers are a prototype from a high end up and coming mobile electronics company called CedarsLink. They've been making amazingly high quality amp kits, wires, all accessories, boxes, and back up cameras for about a year now and are now cutting into the market with speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers. Jerkin got two pairs and I said he's the luckiest man because he got them for free to try out. free high five to whoever can tell me who is the VP of the company

i highly doubt you do. i was surprised when i saw your door, i believe yours are in the doors? but i'm just guessing. i noticed you had a mid on each end of the door so that's my guess.

Any body know the price and part number for the sway bar off the clk black series?

Eibach had thicker rear but hr has thicker front..

Got all the parts except the window deflectors and now I need to install the sways this weekend. I've been thinking. Does anyone know where I can refer to , to get information about a c32 engine swap into the c230 coupe

dude that's a BIG project, props to you if you actually do it! just make sure you have a lot of money stored away for that one!

now that you mention it....could you do this to the c230 sedan?

yeah good luck with that... you better have at least 7-10k that you can put into it for engine + labor

MoreImportantly... Just got the puddle lights installed. Hell of excited. But my door sensors for the unlock and locking of the doors has become terrible since the tint. Does any one know what it could be? Im planning on flaunting these lights from far away... Not in the mood to walk up to them each time.

Did you get a metallic tint? That blocks the radio frequency of your remote.

I would invest in some moleskin for your window tint so you dont get the scratch lines from rolling it up and down. Its a good 35-40 investment.

Nah I got 30 percent black tint. I thought the receiver for the doors was on the door handles? My dads 2003 e320 still works fine even with the tint

What is moleskin? Do I put it on top of the tint? And more importantly can anyone help with what might be happening to my unlock and lock

Actually Saprissa has a C320 coupe.
Stock engine I believe, but lots of other stuff.
PShek has a coupe with a C32 motor.
He spent like 15 grand on it though.

Not the car, just the motor.
Shoulda got yoiur tint done by Automall tint in Fremont.
They know how to do a coupe right without blowing the antenna amplifier.
Took me years to find those guys who had a clue about mercedes,
they use the loop side of velcro to keep the
tint from scratching (vs, moleskin), and you have to put the hatch tint on with the hatch down, sitting in the back,
OR ELSE!
Or else what? Well, or else a $1K repair to replace the antenna amplifier.

but i have no idea how to fix it now. at this point it looks like the tint shop either sliced up my wires or just poured water on the antenna and damaged it... either way... i need to figure this out and get this all fixed.

so that my puddle lights can glow from afar
