So what Vinyl Material did you use? Was it 3M Di Noc?
I'm actually Wrapping A Buddy's Car in Two weekends from now.
It used to be My 93 Acura Integra 3dr.
http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2195887
I built it back up from being a piece of crap, Owned it for a little more then 2 years... The put it up for sale because I needed a bigger vehicle.
My Buddy Matt bought it off of me last year, And Now wants it Matte Black.
He got a couple estimates for some outrageous prices of $1300 and $1k, I think we can wrap it for almost half that!!!
Do you know about how many square feet you used to complete the Coupe?
What was the size of the Roll you used and Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking ?

Have Any Tips that you can share with us on how to do the bumpers?

Thanks in Advance!!

We are also doing some Black Ni Doc Carbon Fiber on his spotless Silver '01 Integra after the '93 is done. Hood, Roof, Trunk, and ITR Wing.
I Can't Wait To Get Started!!!

I used Oracal 970RA in matte black from ink4u.ca at $615. I got a 60" wide roll in 25 yard length and have LOTS left over.
To be honest 1300 and 1k are a steal! Most places that do exotics charge around 4k for a GOOD wrap. Some signage places that do wraps more for advertising are less worried with the looks of the vinyl and you see many imperfections like edges peeling, vinyl lifting and sloppy cut and folds. It took me about 50 hours that includes prep: wash, clay, prime, measure, cut, apply, cut. So if its 1300 for a GOOD wrap do it.

As for bumpers do them last because they are the hardest. Do the rest of the car first to get used to vinyling. For prep especially on an older car where the paint may not be 100%. Make sure you wash, clay, wash, iso/alcholol, then tape primer 94 on areas of concave and make sure the area is as dust free as possible. I also take the bumper off since its easier to work with.

Good luck! if you have any more questions PM me since I don't browse this part of the forums very much.

Matte White may be a funny color to work with.
If your going to use the car as a DD, You may have some problems with that color in the not so distant future.
White Vinyls tend to Yellow after a while..... Yes even the 3M Di Noc as shown below.

Also, Even very minor stains like bird droppings, sap, tar, Oil, or dirty kicked up acid rain from the road may visibly penetrate the color easier then darker colors, Thus making your expensive and time consuming wrap job a bust.
Yes these Exotic Car Vinyl Jobs look Fantastic, But I highly doubt they run 12k to 15k miles a year on open roads.
IMO, if going Matte..... Stick to dark colors.

Haha I feel so disappointed right now. But matte black does look sick. Might be the last thing I do once I finish with everything else

Thanks for letting me know
