helppp. check engine lightt.
hey everyone im new to this forum but not new to a merc. i drive a 02 c240 with 76,000 miles. friday morning i woke up nd pulled my car out of my driveway so i can work on another car at home. (im a side mechanic) as i put it in park it suddenly shuts off nd my CEL comes up. i hook up my scanner nd p0101 comes up. mass air flow range/circuit performance. ive been reading the forums nd stuff i cleaned the maf sensor but still nothing. once in a while when im driving and i come to a red light my car stalls. or if not itll shake tremendusly and jerk foward. im wondering if it could be the pedal travel sensor that ive been reading about. or if theres some troubleshooting i should do. anything would help. im also an automotive student so i can get parts for a bit cheaper. because i went to the dealer sunday nd asked for a price on a tps sensor. .... $142. omg!!! i jus changed my oil and im gonna swap the spark plugs nd see if it helps but i doubt it. even when im driving. the performance suckssss!.

You might have a damaged MAF but please check fuel pressure on the injector rail. When last did this car have a fuel filter?

I disconnected the maf nd ran the car but it ran 10 times worse . So I'm assuming its good. I'm thinking most likely its the tps. I have a lag when I take off . A good 3 seconds.
