Can order 2004 C240 but no info available at dealer!

My local MB dealer is accepting orders for 2004 C-Series but does not have applicable price, new options or "changes" ... He is however adamant about a mid-August delivery date if order is placed before May 30th.

Does anyone have any information and/rumors about changes, options, pricing (Euro has gone up 20+% in the last 12 months)???

My dealer has a black notebook with all the 04 information. It shows changes, options and everything but prices which he believes will be out in July. I would think that your dealer should have the same.

Does anyone know if this information (sans prices) is available somewhere on the web?

I don't think that I'm getting the whole story from the local dealer!

04 C options

MB-JIM --

Can you coax your dealer into sharing the options list for the 04's? I've had a MY04 C32 on order since april and I'm dying to know if keyless-go is an option (amongst other things).

Lemme know

I've read elsewhere in this forumn that it's a possibility feb04 will introduce a C55.

Maybe if I list things that are way off base, someone will feel the need to jump in, start a flame, and 'corerct' me.

Without further ado,

The 04's will be C55 Kompressors, running 2.5Bar pressure, generating 545HP and 592ft/lb torque running 87 Octane (RM/2) pump gas. The headlights will be upgraded from dual-xenon to nuclear fission. You'll have the option to get the standard 17" in the front and 18" in the back for wheels/tires, or the "hooptie" option with 35" rims and flared fenders. Additionally, the C51B package will include a mechanical arm that sprouts from the back of the drivers seat to automatically (female-dog)-slap anyone who comlpains about the operator's driving style.

US MSRP is under $30,000.

Fission headlights? What the hell are they thinking in Stuttgart? Everyone knows that Lexus and Ifiniti will have fusion headlights next year which are not only lighter (weight) and brighter but cheaper.

Never heard of fision headlamps. Would be nice to add the "dynamic" (follow the road) lights showing up on other makes.

Well, here's a picture of the prototype. Unfortunately, it tends to blind oncoming drivers. They're still working on it. Of course, once the other manufacturers work out the kinks in their fusion systems ... this will be antiquated (as earlier stated)
