DIY: Painting Brake Calipers

What you'll need: Jack, jack stands, caliper paint(I used duplicolor), wire brush, caliper cleaner, and masking tape.
step two: Get your car jacked up and put on jack stands for safety, then remove your tire.

Step three: Clean your calipers. you dont want any dust or grease on them when you start to paint.

Step four: If you're using Duplicolor paint, stir your paint for about a minute.

Step five: using the masking tape to cover any areas of the calipers you don't want to be painted.and if you're using caliper paint out of a spray bottle using masking tape and newspaper and cover everything but the calipers.
Step six: Start to paint your calipers and apply 2 to 3 coats of paint
Do the same thing with every caliper and make sure you are always using jack stands.
Step seven: remove the masking tape or newspaper
Step eight: Put your wheel back on and admire your work
I thought the jackstand point there was the control arm.. was I wrong. if so help me out

Harley don't mind the hater. At least you took time to contribute to the forum rather than spend time posting pointless crap.
Maybe if he paints them I'll comment... the nerve of that guy! Blue calipers...[/sarcasm]

I see you have the 4 piston calipers. You have one of the unique years. 2004.5 they had those calipers. They also came on the C32, C55 and C350 sport
