Driver seat just went out. Where to start checking?

So came to adjust my seat after my fiance took the car and when I started moving it went out and won't move again. Where do I start looking for the problem? Possible fuse? Or more major?

three fuses...in the cabin and there is also a fuse in the trunk... F# 2, 21,27
has anything else went off?

where are the fuse boxes on 2002 c 180 classic. why would engine managment light stay on when i have no fault codes showing on reader and how can i get it to go off.
