M271 breather hose replacement
Greetings, I need to replace the breather hose in my benz. At least that is what I think it is called. It is only a thin felt like fabric. The hose has torn at the inlet side on the passenger side. I have searched eBay, and this forum for replacements but can't find any. Any help is appreciated.
Ideally I would like to remove the bend and replace the hose assembly with the inlet on the driver's side. Thus have a straight pipe into the air cleaner box. Kinda like a ram air.

Thanks for the posts guys. I never understand why others can successfully use the search functions in vbulletin forums, and I have such terrible luck.

However the more I think about it, I would rather replace the Air Inlet tube with a RAM AIR type setup using the driver's side. I noticed on the resonator delete thread, it was breifly mentioned. However he had to cut and glue up some parts. I would much rather find a MB part that is made to couple to the Air cleaner assembly, and from there attach to the driver's side air intake port. Do they not make this for another car? Perhaps for the V6 or V8?
