I'm buying a Comand Navigation unit for my 2005 c230. i want to make sure before i buy it that it will work in my car. Here is the info from the seller:

Thats the part number above. Anyone here know if that part number is correct for my 2005 c230 and is a USA version of the unit? It's really pricey so I wanna be sure before I buy it.

Make sure your id matches for exact fit if you have other id#'s contact sell to see if it will fit your vehicle this may work in 2006-2007 models

Forgot to say if you have a website that shows part numbers for our cars could you post it? I tried searching for some info for this, but came up with nothing. Just wanna make sure i'm okay before buying this thing.

I am in the same situation and was wondering if that part# will work on my 2005 C230 US model....I do not have navigation originally in my car and wanted to buy this one and mount it in my car.

guyz, dont bother buying commands in that outrageous prices! u can get a superior xtrons multiradio half the price!

actually many people have converted to command and many like the stock look on here.

You can put command in a non comm car, there is a few threads on it and even a how to, jump into the stickies at the top of the forum and do a search.

Also Rock Auto will give you part numbers or simply google them and they will show up

I believe it's just a software update?

If they wanted aftermarket junk, they wouldn't be asking about a factory radio.

Those radios should work fine as long as they're out of a facelift C-Class (05-07) and looks like this radio:



Don't buy a CLK radio, they are a slightly different size and will have gaps on the sides even though they look the same.

My comand is on it's way!! I decided not to go with the e463 comand from euro customs.. I finally found a 203-870-11-89 which looks identical to the 463 comand just doesn't have back up cam and mp3.. I was actually scared to take i to the dealer for coding and tell them it's out of a G, they'd look at me like a crazy. Thanks 91RS for your initial help.

Did your new comand work? Does it have bluethoot capabilities for answering and making phone calls?

My comand is working although I did not install the Bluetooth puck needed for the capability. You can find them on ebay or at your local dealer. look into Mobridge.
