Previous ride?

Hey guys so I'm still new to the forums and to owning a Mercedes. I just wanted to see what previous cars you guys had before owning a Mercedes. Previously, I had a Honda s2000. Loved the car and having a Mercedes is so much different, but in a good way! I've had many different cars also and so far my 2004.5 c230k is in the top 3.

Here's my s2000.

My previous ride was a BMW 318i e46. Nice car and great handling, but the sensor fault pops out one too many times man.

My Benzo is now the previous ride :/ 2002 was a problematic year!

Getting around in a '11 Camry. Feels like a cloud.

My JDM'd out EP3. These are with my Volks on. Had 4 different set of wheels on them before I sold the car. Last set was some Advan RS but I cant find any pics of them with the Advans.

2004 Civic Si. FWD for the Win!
1990 CRX Si, bought in 1994. Still have, just passed 180k this past week.

ZC engine, Bisi cams, i/h/e, SSR Type X's, Autopower rollbar, Quaife diff, basically full autox setup. Still modding it, but getting harder to find new things. Reuphostered the JDM rear seat and did a personal box conversion of the ashtray this past winter. Trying to figure out if I want to get a zc cf hood for next year or not. Heading up to the annual CRX Meet at Niagara Falls next month; should be about 200 CRXes there total.

phister - love the EP3, always have. If and when the Benz dies in the next couple of years, would probably have to decide on EP3 vs. S2K, like the OP's (great color).

thanks gianiddy! i loved that car besides that I needed more room so upgraded.

but its nice to see others have upgraded also! I wasn't expecting such a wide range of variety of previous cars. I was actually expecting some owners to have previously owned another mercedes. I mean an el camino? Thats badass.

sorry to hear about your misfortune with your Mercedes =/

thats a hot ep3, phister.

outkasted i love what you did with the accord. i've always favored 4 doors over coupes.

I wanna see some more responses

My previous ride was a 2002 Chevy Malibu!
Before that it was a 1992 Ford Probe GT. I still miss that car!
I drove a friend's S2000. VERY cool! Not that far removed from a race car. The gear shift was amazing. I'd love to have one of them!

My first car- A 2004 C240

I loved it. Great car but was a little slow.

My second car- 2005 C55

Little story. No one from my school realized it was a new car since of the same color and thought I got new wheels...

'06 350z 6 speed manual. Someone rear ended me on 880s at about 75 mph... right after I got my Borla's installed.
Miss the speed, but I love the ease of driving automatic in a smooth ride.
Was thinking about getting the 370 now and keeping my current car...

Outkasted that has to be the cleanest Honda Accord sedan I have ever seen. Most modded ones I've seen look so cheap, but yours looks good. Phi's previous ride is sexy too.

MBfinatic that's unfortunate bro.... But for me, lack of knowledge is great because most of the people in my town think my car is brand new and worth more than it really is! LOL

She wasn't all that fast, but was sexy as ever. Plus I loved the sound of the turbo, and it was so easy to mod. Just a simple cold air intake w/ pipe completely changed the sound and feel of the car. Just before the sale of the car, the transmission crapped out but was luckily covered by the extended warranty. The new tranny cost about $5k...phew!

'02 C230 Coupe (Me) '03 SLK320 6MT (Wife)
No pictures since I am away from home, but my list tells I am old:

In order from oldest to now: 1974 Dodge pickup, 1985 Mustang GT, 1988 Accord, 1990 190E 2.6 (wife), 1993 Accord SE, 1996 Chrysler Concord, 1988 Accord, 2002 Accord, 1993 Toyota Paseo and finally the 2002 Coupe.

In several cases, like the Paseo (fun car) they were commuter cars while something else sat in the garage. The Paseo was in the family for years, and was the drive to work car for three of us over time and has over 300k on it now and is still being driven by a friend. I don't really claim the wife's SLK, but did claim the 190 as it got the MB bug, it was just a cool car.

THE C350
Wow a bus now that is an upgrade. So First I am going to list my electric/farm cars that I had when I was a Kid Then the ones I drove once I got my license.
Ok so
1. Electric Mercedes with metal body had it around age 5. It was beautiful My First MB lol
2. Electric 911 (not my picture) Got around 6 or 7

3. Gas 5HP go cart in blue no pics sadly got around 8 had till i was 10.
4. 87 Suzuki Samurai Got at 10 (pic not mine)

5. 99 KIA Sportage 2dr Got at 12 finally a pic of my car

We also had two Unimogs that were somewhere around this time My dad sold them right before I got my Drivers license I wanted to drive them to school. lol

Also a 80's vw westfalia diesel pop top what a cool car got it on too wheels once

(I backed it into a ditch lol)
Road Going vehicles
6.97 infiniti J30 Dad gave it to me it was his old car at 16

7. My 01 C320 which i also got at 16 but 6 months later or so. Pic in sig below.

As you can see my family are car crazy people so I have had way to many for a 21 year old lol The only one I still own is the c320, the kia was sold not to long ago, The j30 was crushed by a tree after having a long life, the unimogs were sold and I still see them around town.

In the past 10 years, I've gone through about 12-13 cars, just prior to this one was my 325i. I Love cars and have probably owned 50-70 cars in my lifetime.
