complete c32 conversion on c230 coupe
Hey Todd, heard you were looking for spacers. Idk if you want to go my route, but I'm about to get the stud conversion
http://www.azevedomotorsports.com/ar...tuds-p-69.html
And just get the spacers without bolts off eBay.

EDIT: the MB girly manny couldn't handle the torque. It would be fun to hear the first and only spinout though.

The only thing was that he couldn't get the ESP to work.
What a disappointment. LOL

Didn't have to change computers, and it works?
No TCU change? Lets see a video of that 1/4 mile.
Oh....you couldn't figure out how to work the camera, or was uploading the issue...
I smell troll!
You have the technical expertise to make an engine that
was never in use at the time your car was mfg. communicate
with the existing electronic systems, but you can't figure out how to upload a picture?

let's start with pictures or a video of the 3.5L m272 w/ Kleemann supercharger mounted, then we can go from there. Dont worry about explanations or anything of the such. Just a few pictures will do for now.
A video uploaded to youtube is good too, just pop that hood for us and give us a good look around.
There is a button to upload attachments (pictures) at the top of the dialogue box when you go to reply.
If you can figure out youtube, you can figure that out.
If you can't, feel free to email them to anyone that does know how to upload them for the rest of us to see.
Surely of such a one-off, custom creation you already have tons of pictures on your camera if not already on your computer?
If you happen to have no documented evidence of such a feat anywhere, it shouldnt take but about 20 minutes to snap a couple pictures, upload to your computer, and attach them to a reply on here or in email.
if you need an email address b/c you cannot figure out attachments or youtube, then:
m272.96x@gmail.com
after you get us the pictures, you can explain how you managed to fit a Kleemann supercharger on your car considering they dont produce one for the m272 retail.
thanks.

Yes, I understand this is very impractical so this is for mere personal reasons.
My future plan is to swap everything from a donor car, however I have a few concerns
1) since the c32 has a longer wheel base by 178mm (wiki) does this means that the drive shaft will have to be custom made or it will directly bolt on along with the diff?
2) Is there a CA smog/registration problem that prevents such engine swap? As of right now I understand it has to be newer engine from the same manufacturer and pass an inspector's inspection?
3) What has to be done if I want to have a manual transmission? (current coupe is automatic)
my end goal is to have a fun track car and, if possible, match my dad's panamera turbo

(current coupe handles 2:16@Chuckwalla and 2:46@Big Willow
DRIVES WELL!!!! VERY FUN!!!)
2. No smog that I know if. They dont have it here but dont they just test the tailpipe? A c32 is just another piece of metal with that motor.
3. You can use a manual to support the power of the C32.. A C240 6MT has been able to hold a modified CLK500. If you can get a 320 6spd would be your best bet. It will bolt up to the C32 block. You will need to call Renntech to have them re flash your ecu (I have been told it is $800) to able to run a manual. Btw I have never heard of the manual not supporting any power. They sell clutch kits that you will most likely need for 350hp..
