M271: Help diagnosing problem (air/hose leak?)

Hey guys,

I noticed my car was sucking in a lot more air than usual. Basically, when I accelerate it sounds like there is a potential leak somewhere in a random hose. I did a quick look-over last night and didn't find any hoses detached. When I drove to work today, the "sucking" noise has gotten noticeable louder and I'm concerned.

My next guess is that something may be torn or leaking. I checked and I did get the engine vent hose campaign done on my car back in April 2008:

But maybe its possible that it tore and is leaking again?

Otherwise, what else could be causing this / any particular hoses/lines I should be checking for tears/leaks first?

thanks in advance!

Check aircleaner & all inlet hoses to the TB & MAF.

Check all vacuum pipes & breathers.
